Solomon is the only member of Oregon’s delegation to the RNC in history who has written, whipped support, and seen resolutions passed at the national level. He is one of only a handful of the 168 with the ability to complete this process, including the floor fight process. RNC-adopted resolutions can become Republican presidential policy.

In February of 2024, Solomon submitted three of his successful RNC resolutions to be incorporated into the 2024 RNC National Platform. He ensured that the Oregon grassroots voters' voices helped shape the direction of the RNC. This process took two full years to achieve.

 

President Trump soon talked about these policy positions during his media interviews and at his rallies. Despite the greatly abbreviated version of the platform adopted by the RNC in 2024 per President Trump himself, two of Solomon's three resolutions were included as planks.
